Connecting your domain
Attach your own domain to a PageFork site, with automatic SSL.
Every PageFork plan includes a free custom domain + SSL. Here’s how to connect a domain you already own.
1. Add your domain
In the app, open your site → Settings → Domains and enter the domain
you want to connect (e.g. yourbrand.com or launch.yourbrand.com).
2. Point your DNS
PageFork will show you the DNS records to add at your registrar. Typically:
| Record | Host / Name | Value |
|---|---|---|
A | @ | 76.76.21.21 |
CNAME | www | cname.pagefork.ai |
Subdomain? Add a single
CNAMErecord from your subdomain tocname.pagefork.ai.
3. Wait for verification
PageFork checks DNS propagation every few seconds. Verification usually completes in 1–10 minutes but can take up to an hour for some registrars.
4. SSL is automatic
Once DNS is verified, PageFork automatically issues a free SSL certificate via Let’s Encrypt. Your site will be served over HTTPS within about a minute.
Common issues
- “DNS not propagating” — your registrar may be caching; give it 10–30 minutes. If it still fails, double-check the record type and value.
- “Domain already connected” — the domain is attached to a different PageFork site. Remove it from that site first.
- Using CloudFlare? — disable the orange-cloud proxy for your PageFork records so DNS resolves directly to our edge.
